At Springbrook Community Church, we get excited about baptisms, and with the angels in heaven, rejoice over every decision to trust in and follow Jesus Christ! Jesus modeled baptism by immersion, a Biblical example we follow here at Springbrook, and this past September 40 people took this step with Christ on their spiritual journey.
At Springbrook, we celebrate lake baptisms during the summer and have baptisms services throughout the year as a part of our worship services. We continuously remind people about their need to trust in Jesus Christ and make them aware of the importance of baptism.
Each baptism candidate attends a baptism class, and writes out their faith story as a part of the process. During the baptism service, we hear all the testimonies, witness the baptisms, and celebrate with friends and family this important life decision and faith step. Baptism services are a great reminder for all of us of our need for Christ, and a great way to keep us focused on our vision at Springbrook to "Build Passionate Followers of Jesus Christ."
